I’m very excited to announce Fings first pair of denims.
The Phil’s are deeply loving. They love you; morph and grow as you do. Love their surroundings, the air; using material that’s lived a life, finding purpose for discarded fabrics. And love the maker; a respectful and kind outcome for everyone involved in the process of its development.
The elegantly taper shape, sitting above the ankle, provides a flatteringly versatile piece in your wardrobe. With a heel and blouse, or a trainer and hoodie. Phil is fit for every occasion.
Made from a deadstock hale track denim, from a deadstock mill. A deep indigo base, with subtle tracked out bright rectangles. The pocket lining, from a second-hand grey cotton bedsheet.
A clean, lined slant pocket on either side of the trouser - Phil holds all the gubbins for you.
Delicately pleated waist and doubled hem, providing the light barrel. Paired with a versatile elasticated waist, ensuring your Phil sticks around through all stages of life.
I’ve found myself wearing Phil EVERYDAY since I made them, which means I’ve found many a way to perfectly pair him.
My personal fave has been the same as how lovely Maddie is wearing Phil here; a pump and a funky blouse. The cropped barrel is so beautifully enhanced with an open ankle and flat shoe. Something about it scratches an itch!
The Phil has also been a brill bottom to just chuck on. Hoodie and slip ons are a magical pairing for Phil. I think it’s the effortless elasticated waist that makes them feel so easy. A crew neck jumper and my Birkenstocks have defo been a strong second contender.
Inspired again, by Maddie, I was broadened to the idea of enjoying a short heel with Phil. I’m not often a heel wearer, but partnered Phil up with a heeled Mary Jane and wow - I’m sold.
Phil is built for everyday, every night and every morning. The easiest of wears, enhancing a basic or blending seamlessly with a statement.
I love you Phil, and I know you’re gonna love Phil too!
